Cheryl received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Mercer University and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Georgia. She has practiced as a family counselor and EAP counselor and written programs on child abuse prevention and caregiver stress.  In recent years, Cheryl has gained expertise in elder care and Alzheimer’s disease. She has been an educator in both health care settings and numerous school settings including teaching psychology in college. Cheryl is also a certified professional life coach and trained in mindfulness techniques for stress reduction. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys exploring the mountains and spending time with her family.
