Emily received her B.S. in Exercise Science at Berry College in Rome, GA in 2018. Emily graduated from Auburn University in 2020 with a Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is recognized by the NBCC as a National Certified Counselor. She completed her practicum and internship at the Tri-County Children’s Advocacy Center in Dadeville, AL. Emily moved to Knoxville in August 2020. Her passion is working with children and adolescents, and she has provided individual, group, and family counseling sessions with children aged 3 to 17 years for a range of issues including trauma and abuse, substance use, grief and loss, anger management, and relationship skill building. Emily has been trained in providing trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. Emily takes a holistic, client-centered approach to counseling.
