COMPASSion Counseling (CC) is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization that relies on private donations and grants to make counseling more affordable for people who are in need of our services.

In 2019, CC donated $87,047.00 worth of services to the community. (Depending on variables such as location, credentials of the provider, type of service, etc., the  market value can range from $75-$125 per session). The revenue from the clinical services in 2019 was $38,378.00, which was insufficient to cover a therapist’s annual pay.

Ways to Give

Cash

The simplest and most common gift is a gift of cash. For income tax purposes, a cash gift is deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Gift in honor or in memory

Recognize someone that contributed to your education with a gift in their honor or memory. Along with your donation, let us know who should be notified of your gift and we will send a note acknowledging your generosity.

Monthly or Annual pledge

Gifts may be automatically withdrawn from your account on the date you specify.

Tangible Personal Property

A donor may contribute personal property such as motor vehicles, art work, jewelry etc. In general, you may receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of the item donated as determined by an appraisal.

Bequests

Donors may include COMPASSion Counseling in their estate plans. Some bequests may result in estate tax benefits.

Matching Gifts
